Alicia A. Guardia
Managing Partner
Alicia attended George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia for three of her four years of undergraduate education focusing on Spanish, Latin American Studies, and Social Work, before transferring to the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA, earning her Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree. She has been an advocate within the Latino community since 1990.
In May 2000, she earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the David A. Clarke School of Law at the University of the District of Columbia, nationally recognized and awarded by the National Legal Aid and Defender Association. In clinical law practice, she served Latino and other tenants in the Housing Clinic and also worked with DC city council in the Legislative Clinic.
She started her Ohio legal career as a non-profit advocate in matters of Immigration, Housing, Domestic Relations, and Consumer Law in the Cleveland, Ohio area. In private practice, Alicia’s focus areas include immigration, criminal, and consumer law with additional expertise in background screening and re-entry issues.
